As the Executive Director of ITNCentralCT, I am thrilled to share my excitement about an extraordinary milestone—ITNAmerica’s 30th Anniversary Celebration! This November, I’ll be heading to Portland, Maine, to join fellow leaders, partners, and advocates from across the country in honoring three decades of advancing independence, dignity, and lifelong mobility for older adults and people with mobility challenges.
For 30 years, ITNAmerica has been a trailblazer in community-based transportation, and as an affiliate, ITNCentralCT is proud to be part of this powerful movement. Together, we’ve helped redefine what it means to age in place with grace, ensuring that transportation is never a barrier to connection, care, or community.
The celebration will take place on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 6:00–9:00 PM at Grace in Portland, Maine. The evening promises to be inspiring, with dinner, an open bar, live speakers, and special recognition of U.S. Senators Susan Collins and Angus King for their support of dignified mobility. We’ll also spotlight ITNAmerica’s exciting new initiative: America’s Volunteer Driver Center, a national campaign aiming to recruit 150,000 volunteer drivers to support transportation programs across the country.
This event is more than a celebration—it’s a call to action. If you believe in the power of mobility to transform lives, I invite you to:
- Join us in Portland for this unforgettable evening. Reserve your seat here
- Support our mission by making a donation.
- Spread the word about the importance of volunteer drivers and community-based transportation.
Let’s honor the past, celebrate the present, and drive forward into a future where everyone can get where they need to go—safely, affordably, and with dignity.
With gratitude,
Evelyn Mantilla
